Financing Your Treatment
Wake Forest Psychiatric Associates is a fee for service practice. We are not on any insurance panels but we are insurance friendly. What this means is that if you have an insurance plan that allows you to see physicians 'out-of-network', your insurance plan can be utilized- this is often the case for patients on indemnity plans, and rarely the case for patients signed on to HMOs.
The way out-of-network coverage works is that you will be responsible for timely payment to us subject to our policies, and in turn, your insurance plan will be responsible to make payments to you and at their contracted rate. For your convenience, Wake Forest Psychiatric Associates can file claims for you. When the option to see a doctor out-of-network is available, your plan will generally require you to meet a higher deductible before coverage kicks in, and will pay a lower percentage of the doctor's fee.
Even if you have no insurance and pay for your treatment entirely out of pocket, you will find our fees reasonable and affordable. Our substanace abuse program is designed to be as cost efficient as possible without compromising care. Many psychiatric conditions can be stabilized in ten or fewer visits, leading to a manageable expenses.
